Sight: Can't See the Forest for the Trees

Sight is a funny thing. Most of us have the ability to see and appreciate the physical beauty around us...but can we really see??? There's an expression that goes "Can't See the Forest for the Trees," this refers to being to close to a situation to really see what's right in front of you. Its funny how in life, friends and family can clearly address the solution for our life's challenges, and many times those of us have the best advise for friends and family as well, however we never want to truly accept the answer that's standing before us.Personally, I consider it a blessing to have sight, and I'm not just speaking of the sense of sight, that's a gift in itself, but rather True Sight, to be able to See beyond the physical. To move away from your emotional self and use your God given senses in the form in which they were meant. Not to live this life in just the physical form, but to be able to See the manifestation of the Spirit before us. Sight...Seeing really Seeing...Many times, I have found myself as most of us do, struggling, obsessing looking for the answers, trying to control the outcome and manage the results, but if only for a moment we can stop and See, Truly See what's before us, we will find more than what we want, but rather exactly what we need.
